7 Guiding Principles of Empowerment Gospel Outreach International

  • Prayer is the foundation on which E.G.O.I will stand (1Thes 5:17).

  • God’s written word will be given first place in all decisions (Heb 1:2).

  • We will do only as the Lord says (Luke 2;42b).

  • Willingness and Obedience to God’s word is the first requirement for anyone to serve in the Outreach (Isa 1:19)

  • Servant leadership will be our practice (Mark 10:45).

  • We will direct everyone to Christ and not to self (John 12:32).

  • Making heaven is our Ultimate Goal (1Cor 9:27).

About Our Founder

I was born in the English-Speaking northwest region of Cameroon (West/Central Africa) where I followed my parents to a Presbyterian Church. I later moved to the southwest region to live with my uncle and eventually had all my education under his roof. In 2003 while in secondary school, I received the Lord as my savior in a school bible club and soon after that, joined a Pentecostal Church called the Apostolic Church Cameroon. I immediately began to share my faith in the school and with everyone around me, telling them of the necessity to repent of their sins and be ready for the Lord’s coming. In 2005 at the age of 15, I preached my first public sermon in the same Bible Club in G.T.H.S Molyko from 1Cor 9:24-27 titled: “Run like a Winner”. We had 203 persons in attendance; the highest number the club had ever seen. Students walking by and onlookers were drawn into the classroom because of the spiritual energy that was being generated and that day many received the Lord and their lives never remained the same. That was a turning point for me as it gave me a glimpse of what the Lord had in store for me. I immediately knew I had been called to preach the gospel to many for the salvation and healing of their souls. In 2006, I became the youngest lay preacher with The Apostolic Church in Buea and moved from city to city preaching in churches and crusades. One of those days while praying in Church at a night vigil in 2010, the Lord asked me to go outside the Church at about 2am. When I got outside, He asked me to look into the sky and I saw airplanes flying out of the Douala International airport (Buea is a city on a hill and from there you can see Douala), and the Lord said to me: “Just as you see those planes flying in the sky, I will take you out of this country in a plane to proclaim my gospel to the nations. I have put a Great Assignment in your hands that will affect many nations but do not be in a rush or try to go ahead of Me. Walk with Me and I will reveal it to you progressively. But for now, keep serving where you are”. I took special note of those words and kept them dearly and meditated on them regularly.

In 2012 after my bachelor’s degree, I got a scholarship to study Expository Bible preaching from the London Cornhill Training Course (Proclamation Trust) extension campus in Abuja Bible College in Nigeria. While there in school, the Lord began to lay a stronger burden on my heart for crusades and other outreach programs. I did a few meetings across Nigeria and more in Cameroon after my studies. Some of those meetings were in a Baptist Church but the Lord was able to breakthrough and move mightily. Though I was from a Pentecostal Church, I was still able to find favor with other denominations and do meetings in a way that not many others were able to. This was another glimpse of the unifying factor that God had put in me.

In 2015, just as He had promised, the Lord moved me and my wife Favor to the USA primarily to proclaim this gospel and use this land as a springboard to carry the gospel to the nations. In 2021, Empowerment Gospel Outreach formally went operational with our first Empowerment Conference in Dallas Texas.

The work the Lord has put in our hands includes organizing non-denominational conferences from city to city, nation to nation; with the aim of empowering believers and uniting the Church which is so divided, to organize crusades in rural areas where the gospel is hardly preached so that souls may be saved. The Lord also told us to proclaim His Word through all forms of mass media so that the earth will be covered with the knowledge of God. These three assignments form the three main branches of EGO.
